Sedona is known for its magical red rocks, but there’s one place that beats in unison with the hearts of lovers: Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. If you’re looking for the perfect location to celebrate Valentine’s Day, this Mexican-style “village” shopping center will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to ancient Spain. We loved it!

Strolling along the cobblestone paths under ancient sycamore trees, the sounds of fountains, and the twinkling lights create an atmosphere that’s hard to forget. This is truly the heart of the city where art meets romance.

When the evening comes, Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village in Sedona turns into a fairy tale. Garlands on the trees and illuminated courtyards make every moment special. During the celebration of Valentine’s Day, one of the most popular spots for couples is the “LOVE” installation, which will become the protagonist of thousands of photos of lovers.

Art in Tlaquepaque Village as a Language of Love

Let’s move on to the beautiful, to the art. It is an integral part of Tlaquepaque Village. You can wander through the galleries for hours, discussing the paintings and sculptures.

Creative Gateways Art Gallery (suite: B125) is one of the most visually captivating galleries in the country. Founded in 1973, it was renovated a year ago and now offers a modern vibe and more than 30 collections from local and international artists. Here you will find everything: from exquisite glassware to jewelry that you can please your significant other.

After your artistic impressions, you should visit Spirits and Spice (suite: C102). This is not just a store, but a real paradise for gourmets. Here you can try unique balsamic vinegars, spices and rare alcoholic beverages. For example, high-quality Extra Virgin olive oil – from $18. It’s a wonderful experience – to choose flavors together for your next dinner together.
