Lowe’s Labor Day Deals 2026 guide featuring seasonal savings and a limited-time credit offer.

Lowe’s is helping shoppers move into fall with discounts on home improvement products, appliances, outdoor equipment, garden supplies, and seasonal décor. The 2026 Lowe’s Labor Day sale runs from August 27 through September 9, with most promotions available online and in stores.

The sale is not limited to traditional end-of-summer products. During our recent store visit, we also found a large Halloween department, fall flowers, indoor plants, landscaping supplies, seasonal planters, and products for preparing the yard for cooler weather.

According to the official Lowe’s Labor Day sale page, featured categories include major appliances, outdoor tools and equipment, grills, lawn and garden supplies, tools, bathroom products, and Halloween decorations.

Prices, promotions, and inventory can differ by store and ZIP code, so check the shelf label, local Weekly Ad, and online product page before purchasing.

When Does the Lowe’s Labor Day Sale End?

The main Labor Day event is valid through September 9, 2026. This gives shoppers several extra days beyond Labor Day itself to compare products, plan a project, or arrange delivery.

Some individual discounts have different expiration dates. For example, the current appliance page advertises up to 45% off select major appliances, with that separate promotion listed through September 16. Always check the terms attached to the specific product rather than assuming every offer ends on the same day.

Limited Time Credit Deal: 12 or 18 Months Special Financing

One of the most noticeable promotions in the store was Lowe’s Limited Time Credit Deal for MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card holders.

The offer provides:

  • 12 months special financing on qualifying purchases of $299–$998.99;
  • 18 months special financing on qualifying purchases of $999 or more;
  • Valid on qualifying purchases made from August 27 through September 9, 2026;
  • Subject to credit approval.

This can be useful for a large appliance, flooring order, outdoor power equipment, or a multi-item renovation purchase. However, it is important to understand that this is a deferred-interest offer, not an automatic discount.

Lowe’s also states that special financing and credit-card discount offers cannot be combined. If a purchase qualifies for more than one credit offer, the customer must select which one to use.

How MyLowe’s Rewards Can Add More Value

MyLowe’s Rewards is Lowe’s free loyalty program for DIY customers. A Lowe’s credit card is not required to join.

Members can identify themselves through the Lowe’s app, their account, or the phone number linked to the account. Eligible purchases earn points toward MyLowe’s Money. Once a member reaches 500 points, a $5 MyLowe’s Money reward is added to the account wallet.

Other program benefits can include:

  • Member-only offers and gifts;
  • Opportunities to earn additional points through boosters;
  • Digital purchase history;
  • MyLowe’s Rewards Kids Club activities;
  • The ability to claim eligible in-store purchases by uploading a receipt within 45 days.

MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card holders can continue receiving 5% off eligible purchases when paying with the card, but this discount cannot be combined with special-financing offers or various other discounts. Cardholders are upgraded to Silver status after saving the card to their Lowe’s digital wallet. Full details and exclusions are available on the official MyLowe’s Rewards page.

The display during our visit also advertised 50% off select STAINMASTER and STAINMASTER PetProtect special-order carpet styles. That local sign listed an August 21–September 10 offer period. Flooring prices and participating styles may vary by location.

Popular Deals to Check at Lowe’s

The most useful deal depends on the project, but several categories stand out during this sale. Here are some of the most notable offers:

CategoryCurrent DealShopping Tip
Labor Day saleAppliances, outdoor equipment, grills, garden supplies, tools, bathroom products and Halloween décorThrough September 9
Major appliancesUp to 45% off, plus an additional $100 off select laundry pairs. Offer ends September 16.Measure the appliance space, doorways and hallways before ordering. Also check whether hoses, cords, installation and haul-away are included or sold separately.
Power tools and outdoor equipmentUp to $150 off select power tools, equipment and accessories, plus free same-day delivery on eligible products.Confirm battery-platform compatibility before buying a cordless tool. Same-day delivery depends on the item, store inventory, ZIP code and order cutoff time.
Patio furnitureUp to 50% off select patio furniture and accessories.End-of-season prices can be attractive, but popular colors and matching pieces may sell out first. Measure both the patio and the space where the furniture will be stored for winter.
Garden soilThree 0.75-cu. ft. bags of Miracle-Gro Garden Soil for $10.Three bags provide 2.25 cubic feet of soil, bringing the price to about $4.44 per cubic foot before tax. Garden soil is generally intended for in-ground beds, not as a substitute for container potting mix.
Lawn and gardenUp to 25% off select lawn and garden products.Look beyond plants: fall projects may also require mulch, fertilizer, edging, pruning tools, leaf bags, gloves and plant protection.
Lighting and ceiling fansUp to 25% off select décor lighting and ceiling fans.For outdoor areas, choose fixtures rated for damp or wet locations. When buying a ceiling fan, check room size, airflow rating and mounting height.
Kitchen faucetsUp to 40% off select kitchen faucets, plus free shipping on eligible products.Check the sink’s hole configuration and spacing before ordering. A discounted faucet may still require a deck plate, supply lines or an adapter.
Kitchen, bathroom and décorUp to 40% off select kitchen, bathroom and décor essentials. This promotion is online only.Online prices may differ from store prices. Add the product to your cart and select a store to confirm the final price and fulfillment options.

A useful rule is to compare the complete project cost, not just the advertised discount. A lower-priced faucet, appliance or ceiling fan may require installation parts, while a tool kit that includes batteries and a charger may offer better value than a larger markdown on a bare tool.

Beyond the main sale, Lowe’s maintains several regular ways to search for savings:

  • Extra Big Deals at Lowe’s: These are featured products rather than one permanent discount category, so the selection can change quickly.
  • Deals of the Day: One-day, online-only promotions available while supplies last.
  • Weekly Ad: Local offers on appliances, tools, paint, lighting, lawn and garden products, and other departments.
  • Clearance: Discontinued, seasonal, or location-specific products with reduced prices.
  • Bulk Savings: Lower qualifying prices when purchasing larger quantities.
  • Lowest Price Guarantee: Lowe’s may match a qualifying lower price for an identical in-stock item, subject to exclusions.
  • Everyday credit savings: Eligible MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card purchases may receive 5% off when another credit promotion is not used.

A New $99 Home-Maintenance Subscription

Lowe’s has also introduced HomeCare+, displayed in the site navigation as “$99 Maintenance.” The subscription costs $99 per year and allows eligible MyLowe’s Rewards members to arrange selected routine maintenance services through Lowe’s.

Depending on the home and available services, the program may include:

  • Electric dryer-vent cleaning;
  • HVAC air-filter replacement;
  • Refrigerator water-filter replacement;
  • Electric water-heater flushing;
  • Garage-door lubrication;
  • Smoke and carbon-monoxide detector battery replacement;
  • Light-bulb replacement, including bulbs in harder-to-reach locations.

Members can also receive 5% off eligible full-priced products needed for these services, including certain filters, light bulbs and batteries. This HomeCare+ product discount is separate from the MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card benefit and generally cannot be combined with another promotion, although MyLowe’s Money can be used toward eligible discounted products.

There are several conditions to review before subscribing.

Halloween Has Already Taken Over Part of Lowe’s

The calendar may still say early September, but Lowe’s has already created a substantial Halloween department. Halloween itself is still weeks away, yet shoppers do not have to wait until October to find seasonal discounts.

This means Lowe’s Halloween savings are not limited to small tabletop decorations. They can also be found on full-size animated figures and large outdoor inflatables, including products suitable for creating an entrance display or a complete front-yard scene.

Fall Is a Practical Time to Work on the Garden

Labor Day also marks a useful transition from summer maintenance to fall planting and yard preparation.

The USDA notes that fall is widely considered a good time to plant many native trees, shrubs, grasses, vines, and perennials. USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service guidance adds that late summer or early fall can be an optimum tree-planting period in many areas because roots have time to begin establishing before winter.

Lucky bamboo arrangements and other tropical plants offer compact options for desks, shelves and small spaces.

Useful fall projects may include:

  • Planting or transplanting suitable trees, shrubs, and perennials;
  • Refreshing flower beds with compost or mulch;
  • Replacing tired summer annuals with cool-season color;
  • Cleaning up damaged or diseased plant material;
  • Inspecting irrigation and drainage;
  • Preparing rakes, leaf blowers, wheelbarrows, and other cleanup equipment;
  • Moving cold-sensitive container plants indoors;
  • Choosing frost-resistant containers for plants that remain outside.

Lowe’s specifically highlights mulch, riding mowers, wheelbarrows, leaf blowers, and rakes among products shoppers may need for seasonal planting and yard upkeep.

Fall Mums and Seasonal Color

Mums were among the most prominent Labor Day garden-center products at the store.

Crotons are cold-sensitive, however, so they may need to be treated as indoor plants or protected seasonal accents in cooler regions.

The garden center also carried trained shrubs with orange berries that could add vertical structure and seasonal color to a patio or landscape. Buyers should confirm the plant variety, mature size, sun requirements, and suitability for their USDA hardiness zone.

Planters for Fall and Winter

Repotting is another practical fall project, especially when a plant has outgrown its container or needs to be moved to a more protected location.

At Lowe’s, you can find large glazed outdoor pots marked as frost-resistant. One 15.5-inch planter was priced at $94.48 at that location.

“Frost-resistant” does not necessarily mean a planter is immune to damage under every winter condition. Drainage, trapped water, repeated freeze-and-thaw cycles, and local temperatures can all affect outdoor containers.

Indoor Plants and Small Seasonal Planters

Not every fall gardening project needs to happen outdoors. Lowe’s also carries orchids, lilies, foliage plants, lucky bamboo, cacti, and succulents that can be used to freshen up indoor spaces.

Unusual Garden-Center Finds

One of the more unexpected displays featured live dragon fruit plants. The sign described dragon fruit as drought tolerant and included growing and care information. Whether it can remain outdoors year-round depends heavily on local temperatures, so gardeners in colder regions may need to grow it in a movable container or protected environment.

The store also carried carnivorous pitcher plants priced at $8.48 and containers of live ladybugs marked at $12.38. These were presented as non-toxic, environmentally responsible garden options.
