Snowboy Productions, along with title sponsor Lib Tech, are stoked to announce the addition of The Feeders! to the Downtown Throwdown (DTTD) urban snowboarding event.
Come to the SuperMall on Saturday September 18th, starting at 1 pm, local riders will compete for prizes, and the winner will get an invite to Lib Tech’s 5th Annual DTTD in Seattle on October 9th. The winners from The Feeders! will be going up against amazing riders from all over North America, such as last year’s winners Nick Visconti, Forest Bailey, and Scott Stevens.

Communities in Schools of Auburn helps students in need at all 22 Auburn schools. They provide clothing, personal hygiene items, alarm clocks, scholarships, tutoring, counseling and more. Communities in Schools is a non-profit organization that relies on the community to support its efforts. They have teamed up with the SuperMall and now you can support their efforts and reward your own school in the process!

Starting July 17, 2009 regular Wastemobile service will be available at the Auburn SuperMall on the 1st and 3rd full* (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) weekends of each month from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. The Wastemobile will be located in Northwest corner of the mall off of SuperMall Way on the dates listed below. This two-year pilot project is being offered to improve hazardous waste disposal service for South County residents.
*if the 1st is a Saturday or Sunday, the Wastemobile will not be operating.

| How to use it |
|
Bring your household hazardous waste to the Auburn SuperMall at one of the times listed below. See what you can bring, what NOT to bring, how to safely transport hazardous materials, and how to make your drop-off safer for you and the program staff.
Limits on quantities: The Auburn SuperMall Wastemobile has a 30 gallon gasoline limit, a limit of five auto batteries, and pre-approval is required for large quantities (over 50 gallons), containers over five (5) gallons in size, and any unusual wastes. Contact the Household Hazards Line at (206) 296-4692 or 1-888-TOXIC ED (869-4233), Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., except holidays, for disposal options and procedures.
Auburn SuperMall 2010 Schedule: During 2010, the Wastemobile will be open in the northwest corner of the Auburn SuperMall, 1101 SuperMall Way, Auburn, from 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m. on the following Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays:

Alternative collection sites: As an alternative to the Auburn SuperMall, you may be able to bring to bring your household hazardous waste to the north or south Seattle collection sites, or the Factoria Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off site.
Other helpful information
There is also information on what happens to the hazardous waste once it is collected at the Wastemobile or the other collection sites.
